Radio Opaque Epoxy System

Master Bond Polymer System EP21BAS is a radio-opaque two-component epoxy compound that cures readily at ambient or more quickly at elevated temperatures. A user-friendly, one-to-one (1/1) mix ratio by weight or volume facilitates processing. Additionally, properties of the cured system can be adjusted by altering the mix ratio.

EP21BAS produces strong, durable bonds, seals, coatings, and castings that reportedly hold up well to thermal cycling and resist chemicals including water, oils, fuels, acids, bases and salts. It is serviceable over the wide temperature range of -60°F to +250°F. and adheres well to a variety of substrates.

Oce cured, EP21BAS is an excellent electrical insulator. The cured polymer compound meets the requirements for radio-opacity needed in medical devices, optoelectonics, and similar applications. Master Bond Hackensack, NJ. www.masterbond.com
