Probing Adapter for 60 Pin DDR BGA

Ironwood Electronics' LA-BGA88D-FLASH-PSRAM-01 Logic Analyzer Adapter is said to allow high-speed operation, simultaneously enabling memory device analysis in PDAs, cell phones, digital cameras and MP3 players that use Tektronix Logic Analyzer System.

The adapter consists of a surface-mount foot soldered to the target-system board in place of BGA, 0.8mm pitch IC using standard BGA soldering methods. The probe board plugs into the SMT base and uses a PCB with power planes to deliver all data, address, control, and clock signals to Mictor connectors. The 64 MBit FLASH memory with PSRAM chip is surface mounted on to the male BGA adapter that plugs into the female BGA socket soldered to the probe board.

Features of the LA-BGA88D-FLASH-PSRAM-01 include a short trace length for maximum speed, low inductance, low capacitance, and blind and buried via rigid-flex PCB design technology. This adapter is designed to interface with fine-pitch BGAs. Ironwood Electronics Burnsville, MN www.ironwoodelectronics.com
